Live Expert Advisor Testing
Below you can find the current set of Expert Advisors we have in live testing. Forward testing is now only carried out on live real money accounts. This helps to ensure a more representative level of performance than could be acheived in using demo accounts.
Data in the table comes directly from MetaTrader and is fed through into our myfxBook account. This allows for several detailed calculations to be made which aid in analysing performance.You can find an explanation of each column header at the bottom of the page.

| Days In Test | This shows the total number of days since the Expert Advisor was first put into a forward test. |
| Total Gain | This shows the total percentage gain made on the account deposit since forward testing began. |
| Closed Pips | The total number of pips profit that have been generated by the system. This is based on closed pips only and does not include any 'floating' pips on open positions. |
| Monthly Return | This is the monthly compounded return leading to the overall system gain since testing began (as calculated by Myfxbook) |
| Relative Drawdown | This represents the percentage amount of the account deposit that was lost during the worst performance period. A lower drawdown is better and represents less risk to the account. Drawdown calculations are based on closed trading positions and do not include drawdown on any open positions. |
| Profit Factor | This is the sum of all closed winning trades divided by the sum of all closed losing trades. The higher the figure the more profitable the robot. A profit factor below 1 means the system is not currently profitable. |
| Win Rate | Here the total number of trades taken that have returned a profit are shown as a percentage of all trades taken. |
| Sharpe Ratio | The Sharpe ratio is used in investment to measure risk premium. In other words this is how well the investor is compensated for the risk that is taken by the system. Here a higher number is better. |
