'Trading has been temporarily disabled due to dangerous market conditions. To ignore this warning set "RemoteSafetyMode" input to "false".

Not noticed this type of warning before. Guess its part of the enhancement of MegaDroid version 1.38?

hi there,

i got the MD 1.38 i'm testing it with alpari but tried to attach it to other currencies pair but an annoucment came up saying it was the wrong currancy pair. i read some of your remarks about trying to attach it to other graphs, did you mean the same pair but different time frame? also, what risk level do you use and how the trading going, is it still steady profit?

Hi Robert.

Yes the MegaDroid EA will only attach to the EURUSD pair but you can also chose to trade it on different time frames. This is because it uses an offset so that trades are activated in the pre Asian market session and can be fooled by changing the offset on the charts (in settings) to trading an hour either side of the scheduled time - though by changing the offset and adding additional charts you could effectively get the strategy trading at any time of day.

In terms of results the system still is one of my personal favourites - you can check out the performance here http://www.fxsystemtrader.com/live-expert-advisor-testing/ in comparison to the other robots on test. It's just slow and steady :-)

This is on a live account with Alpari UK with risk settings set to default.

hi there,

with the settings of the Megadroid, what risk level do you have it on? and also you said you can choose to trade on different time frames but that means you can only have the bot on one chart cause of the cickbank receipt which makes it autenticated. also how do i register for rebate?

I think the default risk level of MegaDroid is 2.0% from memory... you wouldn't want to run it much more than that in my opinion. To make use of multiple time frames you need a 'cracked' version. I have not seen this for a long time (still need the license key though). I tried this a couple of years ago and the results were worse than leaving the system to run on default. You could try searching online to see if it is still available although I suspect the developer who created it is long gone.
