It was not just the eye catching robot shielding itself from a bullet that caught our attention when we first saw Forex Bullet Proof. Nor was it the title (although sometimes I have felt like shooting a poorly performing trading system!). What really caught the attention was the legacy of this Forex system.

Firstly one thing we should clear up is that Forex Bullet Proof is not actually a new trading EA. It has in fact been around for over 6 years. While FAP Turbo was put on release to the public, this system was kept by the developers and run solely on their own accounts.

The decision to release it now is interesting. Given the state of the financial markets most people are now done with the boom and bust approach. Instead in all walks of life, it is not just performance but rather consistent performance that is now wanted.

Unlike many Forex robots available, this EA pitches itself in this way. It aims to produce ‘consistent’ longer term growth rather than spectacular growth.

Forex Bullet Proof is provided as a typical automated trading EA. This means that once you have installed the EA into your Metatrader platform there is actually little left to do but fire up your terminal and let the robot do its thing.

The EA is designed to be run 24 hours a day on your account as it can open a trade at anytime within this window. As we always say it can pay to have a dedicated machine to run an instance of Metatrader on, but in reality you will be fine with simply running this on your home machine provided you don’t mind leaving it on at all times.

Installation of the EX4 file is thoroughly detailed in the supplied manual, in addition to comprehensive instructions on how to configure the robot. While this is comprehensive enough, additional setup videos and instructions are provided in the members’ area. This is quite a nice touch as some people are more visual in their interpretation of instructions. In any case it is worth a look at these additional resources for confirmation that everything is set to run correctly.

The robot trades two pairs out of the box; the  EUR/USD and USD/JPY. It is compatible with both 4 and 5 digit brokers and also ECN broker platforms.

Forex Bullet Proof Review – Verdict

Forex Bullet proof certainly has the making of a good automated trading system if its pedigree is anything to go by.

Of course the proof is in the results. With the system only commercially available for around a month it is really too early to tell what the longer term performance will be.

Historical results on the website do look good however and show consistent profits generated over a 6 year period. The live test results on the site showing an average 8.42% monthly gain since April 28 2010 particularly caught our eye.

Initial forward tests since launch also look good and help to verify the impressive results data provided on the website.
